LANDSCAPE DESIGN QUALIFICATION
The full-time course is aimed at people looking for a career in landscape design.
This 12 month full-time programme covers the complete spectrum of 27 courses with variable numbers of days for each course and 4 weeks of practical experience and other practical weeks. This programme runs from February to February of the following year. The full time course is run during the week from 09h00 to 16h00 or otherwise indicated.
A selective and pre-screening interview is done for the enrolment of full time students by the Principal and Office Manager of the College.
A laptop with the following specifications is required for the full-time course:
Mouse compliant with left and right selectors zoom wheel.
Windows 10 latest update with Microsoft Office.
1920 x 1080 recommended resolution for screen.
4.0 GB available memory space.
DirectX® 9 ¹. DirectX 11 compliant card recommended graphics card.
Media player - Adobe Flash Player v10 or up.
Available USB Ports and network port (LAN port).
The courses include lectures, workshops, practicals and outings. This allows great opportunity to experiment and learn from the experience.
The Horticulture full-time course provides learners with a firm foundation of portable skills with which to enter the horticultural industry in its broadest sense, or if already employed in the industry, be able to look forward to a career path in any sector of the industry.
The qualification is offered full time over a 10 month period (February to November) from 09h00 to 16h00 Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
The courses include lectures, practicals, tutorials, work experience, log book work and plant identification assessments. This allows great opportunity to experiment and learn from the experience.
