Irrigation Design This is the big leagues; if you have worked with irrigation systems before and have a Grade 12 matric certificate with a good maths component, then this is your course. Drawing to scale using a scale rule and a compass. Getting to know your site and working out your water pressure. A look at drip and porous irrigation systems. Drawing up an accurate irrigation design drawing. Determining sprinkler head coverage. Determining the size of pipes to use. Determining the number of zones.
