The course is designed to equip students with the knowledge necessary to gain a basic understanding of the requirements of garden plan drawings.
A well-drawn scaled plan eliminates costly mistakes and allows for a bill of quantities to be drawn up for the garden. You do not need to be an artist to do this course, as long as you can draw a stick person you can do this course. A scale plan gives you accurate measurements on the ground and allows for a perfect garden layout.
Scaled plans allow you to work out your quantities and therefore your costs.

What this course includes.
Course will include a drawing kit; drawing board, pencils, set squares, compass and a scale ruler.

What you will require.
Notebook : Course notes will be provided. An A3 flip folder. Your lecturer will advise additional pens and other tools, but these are not expensive items.

Design Presentation 1/Garden Design Drawing equips the student with the ability to be able to draw scaled plans.
